Vista de la ciudad de Salzburgo (ciudad de la sal) desde la torre mas alta de la fortaleza de Hohensalzburg. Esta fortaleza medieval se encuentra entre las mas grandes de Europa, siendo en si misma un pequeño pueblo. El ascenso a la fortaleza, además de a pie, puede realizarse mediante un curioso funicular nacido a partir del original existente en el pasado.
