The morning sun bathed Waikiki in golden light as I stood inside my hotel room on the 43rd floor of the Holiday Inn, my 360 camera in hand, ready to capture the moment. The city stretched out before me—Diamond Head rising in the distance, its silhouette partially obscured by the towering hotels that lined the shore. To my right, Waikiki Beach shimmered beneath the sunlight, though my vantage point kept part of it hidden from view. Below, the streets of Kuhio and Kalakaua pulsed with the early stirrings of the day.

Using the narrow slit of the sliding window, I carefully positioned myself out of the frame, ensuring that the final 360-degree image would capture only the breathtaking view and not the photographer behind it. I took a deep breath, feeling the warmth of the Hawaiian morning and the excitement of experiencing this place for the first time.

It was my first time in Hawaii, and in that moment, I felt incredibly lucky. With a simple press of a button, I froze this memory in time—one I could revisit whenever I wanted. As I gazed upon the city once more, I could only hope that it would always stay just as I saw it now—beautiful, vibrant, and full of life.
