Sé Cathedral and Basilica of Bom Jesus (Goa)
India

Goa was occupied by the Portuguese from 1510 through 1961. They brought a strong Christian presence to India. Old Goa is an area of Panjim that contains many old Churches. Sé Cathedral has a very beautiful chandelier and a pristine garden. The Basilica of Bom Jesus has an art gallery and the remains of St Francis Xavier. This place feels truly different from other areas of India.
