Beer Festival Latviabeerfest

Beer is so much more than just a drink. Nothing goes better with a hot summer day with your friends than a cold glass of beer. Latvians are well known for their brewing traditions. To delight both local and foreign beer-lovers the Annual International Beer Festival Latviabeerfest will take place on May 25 – 27, 2012 in the heart of Riga: Vermanes Garden. All the major Latvian breweries will be participating alongside with the best European beer brands.

  • A selection of more than 50 Latvian and foreign beer brands with their number one products.
  • Catering by the best local and foreign chefs and restaurants. Live music every day! Rock, country, and pop music days follow each other presenting the best Latvian musicians.
  • It’s going to be three days full of competitions, shows, concerts and other activities.
  • During the festival, a Tourist Information Centre will be your local friend where to find out about all the other entertainment options in Riga.
  • The festival location - Vermanes Garden has the capacity of 50 000 people. It is located just 5 minutes from the picturesque Old Town, nightlife and main public transport links.
