Scott Bar Community Hall
California

A look at the community hall building (built 1876) in Scott Bar, California.  The building looks like a former church w/ an adjacent playground.  Scott Bar is a sleepy little locality off the beaten track.  A nearby historical marker indicates that gold was first discovered here in 1850 along the Scott River, marking a second California gold rush to the Klamath Mountains.
