The old town of "Heidelberg" extends between the southern bank of the river "Neckar" and the slope of the mountain "Koenigstuhl" below the Heidelberg Castle. The panoramic view from the Hercules fountain starts at the church "Heiliggeistkirche". In the east of the square is the Town Hall.
