"Mildenburg Castle" was built around 1200 by the Archbishop of Mainz. Since 1979, the castle is owned by the town "Miltenberg". Here you will find a museum of modern art icons of the diocese of “Würzburg”. In addition, you can visit the courtyard and the curtain wall with battlements. The path to the castle is highly recommended. It begins on the marketplace (Schnatterloch).
