Orkney International Science Festival 2011, Vintage Rally

The OISF is an annual festival which has expanded from pure science to include history, art, music and anything else which will interest the general public.

During the Green and Medieval Afternoon one of the demonstrations was a room of ancient crafts.

Just as a matter of interest, the man striking sparks and demonstrating how to make a wick for your crusie lamp is my father.
