Plaza Los Héroes - Rancagua Iglesia de la Merced y Gobernación
VI Region of Chile

The Plaza de los Héroes de Rancagua is the main square of this city, was in this place where he founded the Villa Santa Cruz de Triana and where did the Battle of Rancagua. Characteristic of this square is that the two streets, forming the "Santa Cruz", name Rancagua founding, each lane pointing towards the four cardinal directions (North and South State Street, Germain Paseo Independencia Riesco East and West). From the Cross, the only corner that remains as originally prepared is the southeast corner.
