The Spital Bastion is one of the fortifications of the town of “Rothenburg ob der Tauber”. The exaggerated beefy construction and a system consisting of several gates served primarily as a deterrent. The massive fortifications was built in the 17th Century. The panorama shows the outer pedestrian access that leads through a romantic wooden bridge.
