侯硐車站位於基隆河上游的河谷，曾是台灣最大產量的採煤礦場。但隨著礦業的沒落，人口逐建外移。歷經繁華又回歸平靜。而今的侯硐車站，又悄悄地以美麗靜謐絕倫的景色，重新以觀光產業再出發。
