Our little crew from Texas visited "El Potrero Chico" in Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico over the New Years holidays. This area is a known and popular climbing area with sport and trad routes going from 5.6 to 5.12+.  Routes begin at 1 pitch and go to 40+ pitches in trad.  The park entrance fee is FREE. Camping is $5.50 USD a night! Food is reasonably priced too.
