1850s Firefighting Display at Sovereign Hill in Ballarat

Panoramic views from the head frame of the gold mine at the Sovereign Hill tourist attraction with a display of firefighting in the 1850s presented by members of the Buninyong Fire Brigade during Fire Action Week in November 2015. Fire Action week is an initiative by the Country Fire Authority to promote preparedness for the Fire Danger Period in Victoria, one of the most bushfire prone areas in the world. Sovereign Hill is a large living museum representing the gold rush era of Ballarat.
