Castle Of Good Hope, Cape Town, South Africa - Western Gun Position
Greater Cape Town

The Castle of Good Hope was built by the Dutch East Indies Company between 1666 - 1679.  The fort is one of the best preserved examples of a Dutch East Indies Company fort and was restored and declared a historical monument in the 1980.  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_of_Good_Hope)

This is the western most gun position which has a beautiful view of Table Mountain over the rest of the fortification.
