Dongsi Bridge
Taiwan

The eye-catching red steel arch bridge Dongsi Bridge is located on Highway 27 in the Liouguei District. It opened to traffic in November 2005 as a main route to the external world thanks to a donation from the China Steel Corporation. It is 131 meters long and 7 meters wide. What is worth mentioning is that the late President Chiang Ching-kuo gave the bridge its name. Chiang thought that the Bangfu River was very much like Dong River in his hometown and therefore gave the bridge the same name.
