Jatiluwih Rice Terrace - BALI - INDONESIA

The Jatiluwih rice terraces in West Bali, near Ubud, are famous for their dramatic and exotic landscapes. The scenery is breathtaking

once a candidate for UNESCO Cultural Heritage, Jatiluwih Rice Terraces comprise over 600 hectares of rice fields. The local population manages a characteristic way of irrigating, known as the subak, which dates back to the 9th century. It is one of the representative places of Bali and its culture.
