National Palace of Pena, Sintra, Smoking Room

The Smoking Room, also known as the Indian Room, features valuable works of art, such as the neo-glass chandelier (19th century) and the low relief "Cólera Morbus", by Vítor Bastos. The name of Sala Indiana derives from its decoration, composed of Teak furniture, of Indian manufacture placed here on the initiative of Architect Raul Lino, in 1940
