In 2003, the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Simferopol referred park «Salgirka» Tauride National University named after V. I. Vernadsky for the establishment of a botanic garden. To date, a botanical garden TNU a rose garden, siringary, iridary etc.
