The grave of W.B.Yeats, Drumcliff
Ireland

The final resting place of William Butler Yeats (1865–1939). The celebrated Irish poet, writer and Nobel laureate is buried in the graveyard of St. Columba's church in Drumcliff, County Sligo.

His famous epitaph, 'Cast a cold Eye, On Life, on Death. Horseman, pass by!', are the last words of his poem 'Under Ben Bulben'. Ben Bulben is a distinctive, flat-topped mountain located adjacent to the cemetery.
