The Samara flag is one of the most important symbols of the Bulgarian army. The Flag monument is a concrete memorial built in the eastern part of the Stara Zagora city. The monument is built for the celebrations of the 100 years passed from the Russo-Turkish liberation war to remember of the deaths of the soldiers.
