Milan: St Aquilino's Chapel in Basilica of St Lorenzo
Milan

The Chapel of Sant'Aquilino is part of the Basilica of St Lorenzo, a great paleochristian basilica, whose most antique parts (4th century) are in large portion still preserved. The Chapel of St Aquilino, before being connected to S. Lorenzo, was a small separate church, built in 5th century. In this 360photo is the complete view of the octagonal Chapel with beautiful mosaics of the 5th century, some of the most important in Northen Italy, and a byzantine sarcophagus. The relics of the Saint are in a crystal urna.
