The area of Episkopi inhabited over time from the Minoan period to today. Identified antiquities from the Middle Minoan period to the Ottoman era. The Diocese are also Venetian monuments. Previously the main occupation of the inhabitants was olive growing and viticulture with main production oil, wine. and raisins.
