A quick look back on my way to Reschen Pass allows for a last view of the city of Landeck. This road is a part of the popular long distance cycle route called Via Claudia Augusta that follows the path of an ancient Roman road along the river Inn. Common traffic uses the newer road on the other side but little noise of the cars and trucks ends up here.

Remains of the original ancient Roman road can be found on the other side of the gorge, high above in the woods.
