A new ferry arriving mid 2010 will allow travellers to cross Spencer Gulf in just over 2 hours between Wallaroo on Yorke Peninsula and Lucky Bay on Eyre Peninsula. This new ferry service shortens the long road trip to Eyre Peninsula by over 2 hours.
