This is the lookout platform at Lake Sonoma in Sonoma County California. The lake is located at the western end of the famous Healdsburg, California Dry Creek Valley wine growing region. A man-made lake formed by the construction of the Warm Springs Dam was completed by the Army Corp of Engineers in 1982. The dam was constructed to create a reacreational area as well as to provide flood control.
