Mulawarman Museum, Kutai Kartanegara

The palace of the Kutai Kartanegara Sultanate was built in 1963 as a replacement for the previous palace burned and was inaugurated on 25 November 1971 by Governor Wahab Abdoel Sjahranie, then handed over to the Ministry of Education and Culture dated February 18, 1976. Kedaton Hall has now been built as the residence of Sultan Aji Muhammad Salehuddin II has been named back in 2002. The Sultan's palace within the family cemetery there is a relative of the Kingdom of the aquatic mammal and Masjid Jami 'Aji Amir Hasanuddin as witness the advent of Islam in Kutai. Museum formerly the palace buildings Kutai Sultanate was founded in 1932 by the Dutch who gave the palace to the Sultan Adji Parikshit Muhammad in 1935. Dominated by a concrete building materials from the basement, floors, walls, insulation to the roof. On the front page there is a duplicate statue Lembuswana Museum which is a symbol of the Kingdom of the aquatic mammal. The architecture of the museum is adopted from the traditional architecture of the Dayak in Kutai. Stored in the Museum Mulawarman historical objects once used by the Sultanate.
