The newest of the three Munich Pinakotheken is the "Pinakothek der Moderne". It has been opened Sep. 16th 2002. It is very popular, shown by the fact that after just 1.5 years the 2,000,000th visitor was welcomed. The museum hosts four different collections: "Collection of Modern Art", "Collection of works on paper", "Museum for architecture" and the "Collection of design".
