Dar El Imzad Tammanrasset Algeria Dar El Imzad means ' House of the Imzad ' The Imzad is an ancient musical instrument used by the Touareg people in the Sahara. The instrument is played by women only. The cultural centre 'Dar El Imzad' is situated in the city of Tamanrasset, in the south of Algeria.
