Haizhu lake park is located in the southern part of the new central axis of guangzhou city. The park covers an area of 2248.3 mu, including 1422.6 mu in the huxin district (795 mu of water surface area, 627.6 mu of land area), and 825.7 mu of green supporting land.Haizhu lake park is composed of inner lake and outer lake.The outer lake is actually a "jade ring" formed by six streams connected together, encircling the round inner lake, which is very beautiful.Therefore, haizhu lake is also figuratively compared to "gold inlaid jade".
