It all comes together right here - Interstate 405 merges with Interstate 5, Highway 30 crosses the river on the Fremont as well. Down below, Interstate avenue carries traffic into North Portland and Greeley provides access to Swan Island. To the west, the Union Pacific railroad yard serves as an interface to both road and sea carriers.
