Every bus and car going from Jerusalem to the Dead sea passes the Sea Level mark. That is a viewpoint and parking in the mountains of Judean desert, signed with sign altidtude 0, where is possible to have a photostop for a while. There is always a "resident - bedouin" with a camel on the site, allowing to take pictures with his animal for a little amount of money.

The whole way from this mark and down to the Dead sea at altitude ca -400 meter there are a signs on the mountains by the road, like "-150", showing every 50 meters decent.
