From LA's Golden era Los Angeles used to be filled with theme buildings. Most succumbed to the greed of a faceless real estate development corporation and were replaced by bland mini malls or gas stations. Look for the license plate of this establishment's proud owner.
The Walt Disney Concert Hall at the Los Angeles Music Center
The spectacular Frank Gehry designed stainless steel building can be seen gleaming in the sunlight from most of downtown Los Angeles. It is the 4th venue and the centerpiece of the Los Angeles Music Center. It was a gift from the late Lillian Disney (the widow of Walt Disney) to the people of Los Angeles the city that had "done so much" for her and her late husband, Walt.
