Made a wonderful walk from the Bernina Hospiz to the Alp Grüm on a wonderful October day.

Ten more minutes to go till Alp Grüm.

From this viewpoint direction Poschiavo you can see down there the line of the Rhaetian Railway. Below are avalange protections of the railway line. Often, the line is also protected by avalange galleries.

This train line is the highest-altitude railway transversal in the Alps (2'310 meters). Together with the Albula section, it is considered to be the most beautiful Alpine crossing and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage in 2008.
