Mt. Hinodeyama (902 m)
Tama

Mt. Hinodeyama is famous for its beautiful panoramic view from the summit. "Hinode" means "sunrise" and "yama" does "mountain"; some people are climbing here to see the sunrise on the new year's day.

We can enjoy 360 degrees panorama from here. You can see Mt. Ohdake (1220 m), Mt. Mitake, Mt. Takanosu, Mt. Tanzawa and town view of Tokyo metropolis. This peak can be easily accessed from Mt. Mitake, and we can go to near the top of Mt. Mitake by a funicular car, so even kids enjoy hiking to come here.

The day I went to there, we saw a somewhat dark layer on the ground of Tokyo cities; I do not know why such layer formed on the ground.
