Kanaka Cemetery is a small area of land alongside Highway 96 near Klamath River, California. There are no headstones, rather metal markers of individual names w/ deaths dating from late 1800s to early 1900s. Of the 34 buried, most names are of Caucasian background however there is one interred w/ the name "Indian Pete".
