Perm_2016. Sovetskaya street.
Russia
The very first, short Perm street, only one block long, appeared on a high bank near the Peter and Paul Cathedral under construction in the 1750s and was called Nizhnyaya. Merchants built houses on it without much order. When clearings were cut for the future regular streets of the provincial city, almost all of these houses did not fit into the plan and were demolished. In 1787, the street began to be built up again with merchant houses, and received the name Bazarnaya. By 1792, it once again changed its name to Torgovskaya. And when, under Moderakh, the street lengthened to Osinsky lane, and merchants began to build impressive two-story stone and semi-stone houses on it, the street received a more solid name - Torgovaya. Since 1920, Torgovaya Street became known as Sovetskaya.
