Depuis sa rénovation, en 2001, le Port de Saint Pierre, son esplanade et les jardins de la plage sont devenus des lieux de vie et d'animation incontournables de la vie des saint-pierrois. Adultes et enfants trouvent leur compte mais ce ne sont pas les seuls : en effet, le port est devenu un lieu particulièrement prisé par les touristes. Il est souvent le point de départ pour des excursions plus culturelles en ville. Les noctambules en quête de bonne ambiance resteront quant à eux sur le front de mer pour profiter de la vie nocturne sudiste bien connue.

Since his renovation, in 2001, the Harbor of Saint-Pierre, its esplanade and the gardens of the beach became places of living and organizing of essential entertainment for the population. Parents and children are not the only ones: in fact, the harbor became a place particularly appreciated by the tourists. It can be the point of departure for more cultural excursions in the city. The late-night ones in quest of good mood will remain as for them on the sea forehead to take advantage of the well-known southern night life.
