Sesimbra Coastline

Sesimbra is a fishing village located near the Atlantic Ocean in the district of Setubal, Portugal. According to historical sources, Sesimbra was the first human occupation of 1.2 million years BC, when Homus Erectus sought refuge in caves and in small agricultural villages. Sesimbra, becomes Portuguese in the year 1165, when D. Afonso Henriques conquered from the Arabs. Sesimbra today is a charming village, which by natural conditions and weather, this region invites the practice of sports throughout the year. The beaches that surround this region extend for several sandy beaches, which are characterized by their purity throughout the coast.
