五楼西檐廊：
滕王阁五楼是最高的明层。漫步回廊，眺望四际，江水苍茫，西山叠翠，南浦飞云，章江晓渡，山水之美，尽收眼底，“落霞与孤鹜齐飞，秋水共长天一色”的千古名句，王勃即在此触景生情挥毫作序。
檐下金匾四字为“西控蛮荆”，内容出自《滕王阁序》。其他檐下三块金匾：东为“东引瓯越”、南为“南溟迥深”、北为“北辰高远”。
