Hitchcock birds at cloudy Independence square in the afternoon after New Year's Eve. Just two days after New years' eve in Sri Lanka. Some rains and clouds during our stay in the country the last days. Now we are in front of the statue of Senanakaya, the first Prime minister of Sri Lanka. Behind the latter is the Independence Memorial Hall which commemorates the independence from the British in 1948.
