We visited Lower Soldier Lake as basecamp for a fishing trip up in Miter Basin. In reality the most luck we had fishing was in this lake, after I caught a hybrid trout that also served as dinner. The sunset provided vibrant purple skies, which faded into this subtle blue tone highlighting the beauty of the Sierra's remote alpine country.
