Born and raised on Mount desert Island on the coast of Maine.  I run photo workshops in Acadia National Park on a variety of topics.  I enjoy shooting 360 panos and am still developing technique.  Mosltly I want to share a more full experience of hard-to-get-to locations that I enjoy.

I am an amatuer photographer as it is a hobby and not a profession.  My panorama goal is to shoot interesting landscapes without man made structures and in locations where the general public does not access.  Occasionally, I will include a structure if it has significance with respect to the rest of the panorama.

Thank you for viewing my page. I am not a pro-photographer, but 360cities.net provides every user or contributor the ability to see locations all across the globe in their full glory, without the boredom of check-ins, long haul flights and visa restrictions. I am keen to support this PC based luxury as best I can; taking photos from every interesting place I visit, whether it is in the Middle East, Europe or beyond. 

I visited Syria for my 40th birthday in 2011. I chose not to take my camera. My account on 360cities could have helped preserve those sights and locations before a pointless civil war destroyed 1000 years of history in a decade. I hope to never regret the omission of any hand baggage as much.

I am a family physician whose main hobby is photography.  I have been mostly interested in Spherical Panoramas in the last few years.  I like creating panoramas in unusual locations or from unusual vantage points.  I have shot lighthouses from the usual "off limits" lantern room, etc.  I have shot waterfalls from the pool beneath the falls, etc.  I have shot commercial site for hire.

Traveling has always been a passion since young age & I have traveled extensively within India no wonder I choose photography as a profession at young age of 15. With the advent of digital technology I migrated completely to digital imaging because of panoramas.  I did my 1st panorama in Feb 1997 using a borrowed sony cybershot digital camera, in1998 I was all in love with this form of wide panoramic art & since 1997 have done 1000s of partial 180° & full 360° spherical panoramas for tourism, hotels & industrial locations.

Panoramic images have a magic which is quite enchanting & that's the magic which pulls me into doing these panoramas.

I am a professional photographer shooting Interiors, Architecture & Industrial panoramic digital images past 22+ years. I feel extremely lucky that I was able to convert my 2 hobbies traveling & photography into my profession, for that reason I enjoy my work. I wish to bring the beauty of locations I visit with my panoramas.

My occupation is Environmental Geology work in California which takes me to various types of construction sites with unique settings for a 360 panaroma.  Also, with job sites all over the metro LA area, I stop at interesting, off the beaten path, locations I see traveling the backstreets of LA.

I use a Gigapan EPIC 100 motorized mount and a 17 foot tall tripod with various camera's ranging from a FUJI JZ 300 point and shoot to a Sony Alpha A350 DSLR.  My day job prohibits extensive travel, but I am available at sites within and in the vicinity of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area.

Hello, my name is Timothy Oldfield, a virtual tour photographer (actually, the ONLY 360° photographer) with Washington State 360.  ;)

The Washington State 360 Project is my way of assisting with the "warm introduction" to various locations around the state of Washington in these United States of America.

Most of the 360-degree (fully-spherical) panoramas I capture or create are now being posted here on "360cities.net", and many are also being shared on Google Street View and Google Maps through my Trusted Photographer account, and Local Guide account (for posting of snapshots, often voluntarily, to assist small businesses and non-profits with editing and otherwise delineating their Maps listings). If you have a VR headset, Google Cardboard viewer, or other stereo viewer, click on the tiny cardbord goggles icon and enjoy another level of experience.  ;)

Studies have shown that VR Tours (sets of Virtual Reality panoramas) can boost visitor-count dramatically.  Once virtually in-the-door, your location becomes more engagingly "familiar", which allows most virtual visitors to more easily drop residual resistance, and perhap raise their curiosity, thereby increasing the likelihood of visiting for real.  Which in turn allows them to promote your establishment to acquaintences.

While building these collections of 360-degree panoramas, I also enjoy keeping the locations and subjects diverse.  Sometimes it is fun to allow a viewer to experience a perspective not generally open to the public (for safety, insurability, security or other reasons), such as venturing into a production area or out onto a condemned bridge, etcetera.  What would you like to share from a unique perspective? 

Living in Southern California gives me access to some great locations with fair weather year round. Most of my road trips involve finding new locations for photograph expeditions.  I specialize in creating Spherical HDR images that can be used in Software rendering packages like Maya, 3d max, VRED, Bunkspeed, etc...  

Do you need a hero shot scene and back drops for rendering a product?

Most all of my images are in HDR format and can be made availble by request.

As I travel around I love to take photo spheres of the lookouts and other exciting locations I visit. 

I do this for nothing other than the fact I enjoy making such photographs. 

I'm shooting virtual reality images since 2006.

During those years I've shot hundreds of locations - some of them just for pleasure and some as a commissioned projects.

I’m a professional photographer specializing in Industrial, Event and PR photography.

 

I have worked in the field of computers and digital imaging for the past 33 years and been involved in the evolution and acceptance of computer imaging from both a hardware and software perspective since joining U.K. digital pioneer Quantel in 1984. 

During my time with Quantel, I was responsible for introducing digital technology to the arts and media industries in the U.S. from my base in Silicon Valley. I also travelled regularly to the U.K. to work with Qantel’s development team on the UI and functionality of what would become the industry standard of it’s time: the Quantel Paintbox.

In 1987, I left Quantel to start his own Hollywood based company, Electric Paint.  Employing this new digital technology I produced Key Art for major motion pictures including Edward Scissorhand, Terminator II, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Die Hard I & II, Silence of the Lambs, JFK & Born on the Fourth of July and album covers such as Michael Hutchence’s MaxQ, Nirvana’s Nevermind, Elvis Costello’s Spike, and The Beasty Boys’ St Paul’s Café. 

Returning to Australia in 1994, I established Red Square Productions, one of the country’s first Web Development Agencey. Red Square went on to develop long lasting business relationships with companies such Qantas, Telstra, YHA, Panasonic Australia, The Good Guys, Harvey World Travel, Maersk Line Shipping and the oneworld Alliance of Airlines. Red Square Productions was known for its innovative approach to web development, pioneering a number of technologies in Australia and popularising 360˚ immersive imagery, creating unique virtual tours of sporting locations such as Olympic Park, accommodation offerings by Australian Youth Hostels and promotional events for Panasonic Australia, Qantas and Telstra.

In 2008 I merged Red Square’s business with local agency Webqem, allowing me to pursue my interest in travel, 360˚ panorama photography, and all things digital. 

In 2012 I became involved with an Australian start-up company Mogeneration and its tablet publishing solution Oomph taking on the role of Creative Technologist.   

I was recognised in the Australian Mobile Awards for my work in developing the award winning apps for Sky-OneCentral Park (Frost Design/Fraser Properties), Experience the Highs ( New England (NSW) tourism) apps and his 360˚ panoramic photographic contribution to the MCA Anish Kapoor app.

In 2014 I returned to my home city of Adelaide to focus on new technologies and ways of providing 360˚ Panoramic Photography, 360˚ Video and 360˚ Web & App services.

Today I am working with a diverse group of clients to develop 360˚ virtual tour content. My clients include the French luxury cruising company Ponant (Worldwide locations), various divisions of the University of Tasmania (Web and Mobile VR apps), Pichi Richi Railway (Quorn), Stuartholme School (Brisbane)  and MadebyFairfax (Sydney).

My Full name is Nasir Ashraf. I belong to Tehsil Burewala; a small city of Pakistani Punjab where I grew up and studied till Graduate level in Govt. College Burewala. I'm fond of Traveling, Photography and taking keen interest in natural environment…I did M.Sc. in Geography and specialized my skills in Satellite Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographical Information System (GIS). I’ve been travelling about the Northern Areas of Pakistan mostly; some of those are “Kaghan Valley, Naran, Shogran, Siri, Paye, Kich, Lalazar, Gilgit, Hunza, Khajurab, Skardu, Sadpara Lake, Aansoo Lake, Saif-ul-Malook Lake, Kalam valley, Mangora, Abbotabad, Mansehra, Bahrain, Malam Jabba, Kachora Lake, Ayubia National Park, Deosai National Park, Lake Mahodand, Besham, Chilas, Dasu, Pasu Glacier, Matlatan, Oshu Valley, Azad Kashmir, Nanga Parbat 8126m and many more…” I’ve also travelled to each and every 36 District and all Tehsils even to the rural areas of Punjab for GPS Surveys, Photography, Environmental Impact Assessment Reports etc. Subsequently after my University studies in February 2008 I joined “Geo-Research” an Earth engineering company in Lahore as RS/GIS Officer, I worked there more than 1 year and joined Islamia University Bahawalpur as GIS Analyst in Department of Geography and visiting Lecturer RS/GIS/GPS. Qualified and experienced electronic engineer now practicing as an ICT manager in the education sector, based in East Central Scotland. In my spare time I have various hobbies. One of my main interests is getting to the great outdoors. Hill walking with a particular emphasis on bagging Ordnance Survey triangulation pillars. I have visited over 2,600 of these pillar locations. Triangulation pillars are usually located at good viewpoints. The original purpose of these concrete pillars was to serve as stable control markers for map surveying. With advancing technology now allowing us to display 360° panoramas on the internet, I am able to share many of the panoramic views I have enjoyed on my walks. The quality of my images will vary, I am at the mercy of the Scottish weather.

Hi my name is Chris and I recently entered the world of 360 Panoramas, some of my early work, and by early I mean shot in the last month or so are not full 360 x 360, sadly I was new to the world of 360s and figured it would just take a certain set of pictures, so I ended up with some unexpected shadows or didn't take a ground shot to stitch in, but I am learning and my work is getting better and better all the time.

My wife and I like Street Art so a lot of what you see will be on that subject, the really cool thing is that the locations we visit change often so whilst the location might be the same the content and subject can often be quite different.
