The heritage listed jetty was built in 1900 for the shipping of

wheat and wool from the area. The jetty is only one of the
three jetties constructed of steel pylons being screwed
into the seabed by horse-drawn winch. The jetty is good for fishing but the warning sign for sharks might deter from swimming at the sandy beaches.
