位於北海岸石門區老梅里的綠石槽海岸，為全台唯一特殊景觀，美不勝收。「綠石槽」在地理名詞中，應稱為「潮溝」或「海蝕溝」，這些排列整齊的石槽，是由於大屯火山爆發後，遺留海岸邊的火山礁岩，在波浪長期的沖刷下，質地鬆軟的部份被侵蝕，留下較堅硬的部份而形成溝槽。
