景美溪的重要支流崩山溪、烏塗溪在石碇東西街交接處的萬壽橋下會合；位於西街的石碇國小緊鄰烏塗溪，校門口集順廟主祀保儀尊王，廟門口廣場是早年的物資集散地，鄰近渡船頭。近年來，石碇鄉親們努力營造家園，要重新展現這裡的早年風華。
