Amorbach Konventbau 2011
Franconie

The former abbey “Amorbach” was until its dissolution (1803) one of the largest monasteries in Germany. The convent building located on the “Schlossplatz” impressed with a length of 118 meters. After the expropriation as a result of the Napoleonic conquests, the Abbey was awarded of the Princely House of Leiningen.
