Grandeur Peak (north side), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
Utah

On this first official day of summer, spring is still springing at the higher altitude of Grandeur Peak.  The brilliant red of Scarlet Gilia is scattered among the blues of Penstemon and Larkspur and the yellows of Balsamroot and yellow-orange Buckwheat.  Lower down the whites of Ninebark and Chokecherry appear.
