Just west of Eyrarbakki, Iceland

In the 18th century Eyrarbakki was a vibrant community with one of Iceland’s biggest ports serving the south coast of Iceland. In the early 20th century Eyrarbakki lost its importance as a trading centre.

It is currently a small, well-kept village with many historical buildings.

If you head straight south, you won't hit land until you reach Antarctica.
