The naturally beautiful Sandhamn is a unique island in Stockholm's archipelago in that sense that the island is consisted of sand with a few rocks here and there.

Sandhamn is also known for its sailing races, among others "Gotland runt". KSSS is one of the world's oldest sailing clubs, they had their 175 year anniversary 2005.
