The Public Library of Des Moines, the copper colored building, is a modern and well stocked library serving the metro area. 

Water runs in the outdoor pools in the summer with fountains.  With a view of the tallest building in Iowa, the 801 Grand Building, as well as outdoor sculpltures and Des Moines corporations, it is a popular meeting and walking area.
